Socket Error 10047 - Addresses in the specified family cannot be used with this socket

Meaning: Addresses in the specified family cannot be used with this socket

This error only normally occurs during VPOP3 startup.

There are two main possible reasons for this error:

1. TCP/IP networking is not configured correctly on the PC which VPOP3 is running on. Check the TCP/IP configuration. You may need to remove and reinstall TCP/IP networking.
2. On the Services page in the VPOP3 settings, you have an invalid address in the IP Address to bind to: entries.
